Stress

Stress can lead to tiredness, sleep deprivation, or headaches. Stress can also cause pressure when making decisions and trigger irritability. It can also make day to day life difficult to cope with.

When a person is stressed they sometimes turn to unhelpful ways of coping, such as; drugs, alcohol, overeating and other behaviour changes. They may also find it difficult to relax or concentrate and thoughts or worries might keep them awake at night.

Talking through your problems may help. If stress continues without self-help or professional help this could lead to anxiety or even depression.
